1. Walk around the town of Onokogard!

Beyond Onokogard Castle lies the town of Onokogard, where many townspeople live! The town has many realistic buildings, including tool shops, weapon shops, and even the homes of townspeople who need help! Go inside and ask if there's anything you can do to help!

If you get lost, check the map!
2. Help townspeople in trouble!

Anyone who has played an RPG has likely received a request at least once: an "errand." Here, you can experience it in real life! Townspeople will ask you to collect items, so you can actually walk around every corner of town and help them out! When you complete a request, you will receive G (gold) as a reward, so help out as much as you can to equip yourself!
3. Gear up for battle!

Once you have saved up enough gold, prepare the equipment you will need for the upcoming battles! The weapon shop in town sells a variety of weapons and tools, so purchase the weapon that suits your job! The weapons you can equip may change depending on your job!
Now we're finally ready to fight monsters... but it's too early! We'll get a few more preparations in town!
4. Search for "small medals" in town!

Small Medals also appear in the game, and collecting many of them will give you rewards. Of course, there are many hidden throughout the town of Onokogard! Look inside jars and thoroughly investigate objects around town to find the Small Medals! Collecting them will give you an advantage in future battles, so exploration is definitely important!
5. All set! Time to battle monsters!

Now you're ready for battle! Outside the town of Onokogard lies the "Northern Forest" area, where monsters appear. Various monsters are waiting for you, adventurers! After receiving a request to defeat a monster in town, set off for the "Northern Forest"!
...And that's all for today! We'll show you how to fight monsters next time!
The adventure you've always dreamed of is here! Embark on an adventure to save the world in "Dragon Quest Island"!
