The Dragon King will descend once again on Nijigen no Mori’s “Dragon Quest Island”! “Return of the Dragon King Greeting in Dragon Quest Island” will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026.

The hugely popular attraction “Dragon Quest Island: The Demon Lord Zoma and the Island of Beginnings” at “Nijigen no Mori Anime Park Awajishima Park” on Awaji Island, Hyogo Prefecture, will be holding a closing campaign to mark the finale of the current series, in preparation for the remake “Dragon Quest Island: Ancient Demon Lord and Chosen Adventurers” scheduled for release this spring.
As the first part of the campaign to close the season, we have decided to hold the “Dragon King Greeting” event again, which was held last year and received a great response from many adventurers.
For this special greeting, the Demon King “Ryuuou” from “Dragon Quest” will make a return to “Dragon Quest Island” only on Saturday, February 21, 2026. It will be a special day where you can enjoy taking impressive commemorative photos with the Dragon King in the world of the attraction.
On the day of the greeting, numbered tickets will be distributed according to the attraction’s opening time. By coming to the back of Onokogard Castle in the “Dragon Quest Island” area at the meeting time printed on your numbered ticket, you will be able to participate in the greeting with the Dragon King. In addition to commemorative photos, original event-exclusive novelties will also be given away.
“The Great Demon Lord Zoma and the Island of Beginnings” has welcomed many adventurers over the years. Now that the story has reached a turning point, it’s time for a rare opportunity to meet the Demon Lord who once stood in the way of heroes. Be sure to take a memorable photo of your adventure in this place where the world of Dragon Quest unfolds in reality.
