[Too big] An experiential attraction where you can participate in monitoring activities for a life-sized Godzilla!

A 120m long impact

Be brave and jump in together!

“Godzilla Interception Operation,” a popular attraction at Hyogo Prefectural Awajishima Park Anime Park “Nijigen no Mori,” is an experiential attraction where you can participate in monitoring a life-size Godzilla (120m long) that is inactive within the park!

There are many different ways to enjoy the attraction, including a “zip line” where you hang from a thick metal rail and jump into Godzilla’s wide-open mouth, and a “gun shooting” where you fight Godzilla cells, so instead of just watching, you can actually experience various things as you progress, making it a different kind of fun than a ride!

If you compare it to the mission container underneath Godzilla, you might get a sense of its size – 120 meters in length… It’s so powerful, it looks like it could start moving at any moment, and you’re sure to experience fear and excitement that you can only experience here!

Zipline into Godzilla’s body!

The highlight of the attraction is the 15m-high zip line! Hanging from a thick metal rail, you’ll plunge into Godzilla’s body or onto its surface!

By the way, wouldn’t you like to take pictures while you’re gliding? We actually rent out smartphone holders, so you can take pictures and videos of your exciting experience! Be sure to capture some footage of Godzilla’s mouth approaching, which you can only get here!

What is Godzilla Interception Operation?

“Godzilla Intercept Operation” is a one-of-a-kind entertainment attraction themed around the world’s largest life-size Godzilla that landed on Awaji Island, allowing visitors to fully experience Godzilla’s might and power. Participants become members of the National Godzilla Awajishima Research Center and, through a film-like attraction video produced by Toho, are given an explanation of the “Godzilla Intercept Operation” that unfolds against Godzilla’s appearance on Awaji Island. Afterwards, they take on attractions such as the “Zip Line” and “Godzilla Cell Shooting.” The adjacent Godzilla Museum, the world’s first permanent facility, features spectacular dioramas and other exhibits that bring scenes from the film to life, with the cooperation of Toho Visual Arts Co., Ltd., the company responsible for the special effects art of Godzilla films.

Accommodation “GRAND CHARIOT Big Dipper 135°” collaboration room
Let’s stay at “Kaiju Land”!

To commemorate the 70th anniversary of “Godzilla,” a Godzilla collaboration room called “Kaiju Land” has opened, bringing together all the monsters that have appeared in the Godzilla films to date.
This room features interior décor and tapestries depicting past Godzillas and other popular monsters, as well as a life-size portion of Godzilla visible through the window. Special processing has been applied to these elements to change their appearance depending on the light shining on them, allowing you to enjoy different indoor atmospheres during the day and at night.
You can also enjoy exclusive novelties that can only be obtained here, such as acrylic blocks featuring posters from past Godzilla films.
