[Additional Event Confirmed] Meet and Greet with Famous Cosplayers “2nd Awajishima COSPLAY ~Awacos~ Powered by World Cosplay Summit” to be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026
Hyogo Prefectural Awajishima Park Anime Park “Nijigen no Mori” (Awaji City, Hyogo Prefecture) will be holding the cosplay event “2nd Awajishima COSPLAY ~Awacos~ Powered by World Cosplay Summit” on Saturday, February 28, 2026, in cooperation with WCS Co., Ltd., organizers of the World Cosplay Summit, one of the world’s largest cosplay festivals.
Highlights of the 2nd event

Three guest cosplayers with a track record of success both in Japan and overseas will be participating in this AwaCos event, enjoying the event from the same perspective as the participants.

She specializes in monsters and anthropomorphized characters, and is a cosplayer who has attracted attention for her original, self-made costumes, mainly from the Godzilla series, such as “Shin Godzilla,” “Godzilla-1.0,” and “Mothra.” She has also appeared at events overseas, including as a guest at the CosSummit after-party.
Additionally, they have been in charge of creating the official costumes for Ibaraki Prefecture’s official VTuber, Ibaraki Hiyori, for many years, and are engaged in activities that link regional PR with cosplay culture.

She is a cosplayer who represented Japan at the World Cosplay Summit WCS2025. With her special makeup and modeling skills, she won the judges’ special award and costume award at the WCS2024 Japan competition. She is active in a wide range of fields, including appearing in various media, on stage at events, as a judge and MC.

A cosplayer born in Türkiye and raised in Japan.
She has experience creating costumes for over 30 characters, mainly from the “Dragon Quest” series, and has also appeared on television programs and participated in PR activities at events related to overseas works. She continues to work and continue her cosplay activities.
In addition, we have prepared the following two benefits for participants of this event.
First, all participants will receive a “Nijigen no Mori Light Ticket” worth 13,000 yen, which can be used for four attractions from March 1st, the day after the event, to March 31st.
The second gift is a “Mini Size Cleansing Sheet AS” given to you in cooperation with Assist Wig, a comprehensive cosplay wig specialty store.

Information on special events for participants only
To share memories of the event, a one-day-only commemorative event will be held for AwaCos participants. On the day, an indoor area will be opened exclusively for cosplayers, where you can relax and socialize in a warm space, and enjoy a limited collaboration menu.

Overview of the 2nd “Awajishima COSPLAY ~Awakos~ Powered by World Cosplay Summit”
This is the second time the event has been held, and in order to allow as many customers as possible to enjoy “cosplay” itself, we have prepared several types of participation tickets. In addition to the “Cosplayer Ticket” which allows access to dedicated indoor changing rooms, we have also prepared a “Photography/General Ticket” for those who just want to take photos and interact with cosplayers. You can freely enter and exit each attraction area of Nijigen no Mori and enjoy the great outdoors, an immersive world view, and the infinite possibilities of your favorite costumes and makeup all day long.

Special Project
“2nd Awacos Memorial Group Photo & Awacos Exchange Gathering”
A special event will be held for participants at Morino Terrace, a restaurant inside Nijigen no Mori.
<Interaction space>
This is a special event for ticketed participants. We have prepared a social space where participants can come and go freely. You can enjoy interacting with other participants while taking a break in a warm place.
<Group photo and social gathering>
At the designated time, we will hold a group photo with all participants and a social gathering with guest players.

The Grand Chariot Big Dipper 135° has 23 guest rooms reminiscent of a cocoon, with skylights over 5 meters high offering spectacular views of the sunrise and starry sky. Meals are overseen by Yamashita Haruyuki, Japan’s leading master chef, who owns 13 restaurants both in Japan and overseas. ① Selectable collaboration room and early check-in
Exclusively for those staying in the collaboration room with this plan, check-in, which is normally at 3 PM, will be possible from 1 PM. You can also take your time taking photos in the collaboration room.
②Free transportation to and from the Awakos venue and each attraction
We will provide transportation in a special vehicle to areas where you can take photos, such as the large lawn area within Nijigen no Mori, Crayon Shin-chan Adventure Park, Naruto & Boruto Shinobi Village, Godzilla Intercept Operation, and Dragon Quest Island.
③ Advance luggage collection service
We will store your necessary cosplay luggage, such as costumes, wigs, and props, at the hotel in advance. After receiving your luggage, we will carefully carry it to your room.
④ Free luggage delivery service after check-out
We will ship not only your costume, but also your props, wigs, and other belongings to your home free of charge, so you can return home light and happy after the event.
⑤Event participation ticket
Your Awakos participation ticket will be handed over to you upon your arrival at Nijigen no Mori on the day of the event.

About “Nijigen no Mori Anime Awajishima Park”
