What is Godzilla Interception Operation?

“Godzilla Intercept Operation” is a one-of-a-kind entertainment attraction themed around the world’s largest life-size Godzilla that landed on Awaji Island, allowing visitors to fully experience Godzilla’s might and power. Participants become members of the National Godzilla Awajishima Research Center and, through a film-like attraction video produced by Toho, are given an explanation of the “Godzilla Intercept Operation” that unfolds against Godzilla’s appearance on Awaji Island. Afterwards, they take on attractions such as the “Zip Line” and “Godzilla Cell Shooting.” The adjacent Godzilla Museum, the world’s first permanent facility, features spectacular dioramas and other exhibits that bring scenes from the film to life, with the cooperation of Toho Visual Arts Co., Ltd., the company responsible for the special effects art of Godzilla films.
